Phillips Connect’s Smart7™ Telematics Hub with Connect1™ Health Monitoring Recognized by Heavy Duty Trucking with a 2022 Top 20 Products Award

IRVINE, CA (March 1, 2022) – The Smart7™ telematics hub with Connect1™ health monitoring from Phillips Connect has been recognized this year with a 2021 HDT Top 20 Products award from Heavy Duty Trucking magazine.  This is the second consecutive year that a Phillips Connect product has appeared on the list.  In 2020, Phillips Connect’s Smart7 Remote Pre√™ won the award for the company.

Each year, Heavy Duty Trucking selects its Top 20 Products for their innovation, ability to address important industry issues, and their potential to improve a fleet’s bottom line. Finalists for the 2022 Top 20 Products were chosen by a three-person panel of the trucking industry’s most experienced editors from HDT, with the help of a panel of fleet representatives drawn from their Editorial Advisory Board and HDT Truck Fleet Innovators.

The Smart7 integrated telematics hub with Connect1 health monitoring can be installed on new-build trailers or retrofitted on existing units. The Smart7 tracks and manages all trailer health sensors through the integrated open Connect1 platform.  The Connect1 platform provides complete fleet analytics, custom notifications, geofences, reports, driver alerts, and more through a single device. The Smart7 with Connect1 health monitoring is the only device a fleet needs to get a real-time comprehensive view of the total status of their entire fleet of trailers.

“I’m really proud that the Phillips Connect team is carrying on the tradition of Phillips companies winning HDT Top 20 Product awards,” commented Rob Phillips, founder and CEO. “With the combined industry knowledge of those making the decision each year, being on the list means you’re doing something right!  It’s a goal every year. Our product development at Phillips Connect is the same as at Phillips Industries – to solve industry issues and give fleets solutions that add to their bottom line.  We appreciate the consideration each year from HDT editors and their fleet partners.”
